Gravel & trail All-road comfort Smooth tarmac · pure speed
One rider, one surface spectrum. The Exceed owns everything off the tarmac, the Endurace sits in the all-day comfort zone with room for light gravel, and the XCR is dialled all the way to aero speed on smooth roads. No two overlap enough to make one redundant — each covers ground the others simply can't.

This winter
The low-intensity base block — the ideal time to adapt, and it starts now
A triathlon isn't won on the spec sheet — it's won by the athlete who can hold race power in an aero tuck for hours and still run well off the bike. That position is a trained adaptation, not a purchase: it takes months of consistent riding in the exact 79° geometry the Exceed and Endurace simply can't replicate. Counting back from Rapperswil — and the full Ironman that follows it — that adaptation block lands squarely on this winter's aerobic base. Which is the quiet case for the third bike: it earns its place in the garage now, while there's still a full season to grow into it, rather than next spring when the calendar has already run out of time.
